Operating since 1926, Warsaw's Institute of Aviation is a centre of
research, development and design activities in aviation and related disciplines.
The Institute of Aviation is a state-owned company. A broad experience
base, backed by in-house advanced new technology and knowledge of modern
design methods is a guarantee of our capabilities in providing services
for a broad spectra of potential customers.
Institute of Aviation achieves its strategy to be a world-class research centre by:
- Achievement of world-class standards in research and design services,
- Strong and consistent position on EU and other markets,
- Levels of income, investments and research quality comparable to EU levels.
Institute of Aviation has:
- Certificate of Quality System No. JW-170/1/2005 certifies that Institute of Aviation in the following scope of activities: leading science research processes, design processes, research and development processes and production in aviation and related areas observing the Criteria of Internal Control System (WSK) is in conformance with the standard PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 and the Criteria of WSK. Evidence of the above has been afforded by the audit carried out by the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification.
- Certificate No. PL-JW-170/1/2005 issued by The International Certification Network IQNet and Polish Centre for Testing and Certification. It certifies that Institute of Aviation for the following field of activities: leading science research process, design processes, research and development processes and production in aviation and related areas has implemented and maintains a Quality Management System which fulfills the requirements of the following standard: PN-EN ISO 9001:2001
