AUTONOMOUS FATIGUE LOADS RECORDER "AROS"

Recorder AROS is intended to measure, analyze and classify random course of linear acceleration. The results are gathered as the spectrum of aircrafts loads.

Application

  • estimation of exploitation loads during flight as spectrum of aircraft's loads,
  • estimation of fatigue wear of aircraft's carrier structure,
  • estimation of intensity and safety of aircraft's exploitation,
  • estimation of individual, safe period of aircraft's use,
  • other analysis of static and fatigue strength of carrier structure.

It is intended to measure, analyze and classify random course of linear acceleration. The results are gathered as the spectrum of aircraft's loads.

Method of signal classification

Exceeding of given levels of loads' coefficient is recorded by method of counting the exceeding of pairs of levels.

Conditions of building-in

The recorder should be placed near the center of gravity, while turn and direction of measurement axis (marked on the casing) should be compatible and parallel to vertical axis of aircraft.

Enduser data presentation

Recorded by AROS data are transmitted to PC through the serial RS 232C interface. Software packed, compatible with Windows 9X and Windows XP platforms, converts raw data to numerical and graphical users results.
