TORQUE METER TESTING INSTRUMENT UD-100M

Testing apparatus UD-100M serves to periodic checking the efficiency of UPM100M torque meters (installed as W3A helicopter airborne equipment). Occasionally instrument might be used as inflight diagnostic apparatus for checking  the efficiency of torque meter and (in emergency, at the airfield) during the process of replacing the torque meter’s EBM - 3M measurement unit and tuning it to MF100M converter.

RWL-750 RADIOALTIMETER TESTING INSTRUMENT

RWL - 750M radioaltimeter testing instrument makes possible a complex checking of the efficiency of all radioaltimeter versions in the aircraft and laboratory. Testing instrument  is equipped with altitude simulators for subsystems testing and aerial system for all system diagnostics. Analysis of ARINC 429 signal transmission correctness is also available.

Main functions:

  • all system efficiency testing,
  • diagnostics and localization of defects,
  • radioaltimeter scaling,
  • simulated altitude tuning,
  • power supply efficiency monitoring,
  • all measurement channel testing by TEST push-button,
  • microwave head efficiency testing.

RADIO STATION TESTING INSTRUMENT TRS-6113-2

TRS-6113-2 testing instrument is a diagnostic apparatus dedicated to VHF/UHF RS 6113-2 type airborne radio stations and other types of radio stations composed of basic RS 6106 and RS 6107 types. The instrument makes possible a detection and preliminary localization of defects in radio station and aerial system on the aircraft flight deck (not inflight). Readjusting  the TRS-6113-2 instrument to the other types of radio stations characterized by approximate parameters is possible. Version equipped with data recorder for measuring data is also available.

GENERAL PURPOSE MRT-3 RAMP TESTER FOR NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

MRT-3 instrument is an inexpensive and precise general purpose ramp tester for airborne receivers' efficiency diagnostics. Testing procedure is realized via generation of signals which are characteristic for tested systems. All of tester-generated signals are listed below:

  • MARKER BEACON signal, amplitude modulated with user-selectable 400 Hz, 1.3 kHz and 3 kHz frequencies,
  • COMM (radio station) signal, amplitude modulated with 1.3 kHz frequency,
  • LOC (108.1 MHz) signal, amplitude modulated with 90 Hz and 150 Hz frequencies with user-selectable proportions,
  • GS (334.7 MHz) signal, amplitude modulated with 90 Hz and 150 Hz frequencies with user-selectable proportions,
  • VOR (108MHz) signal, amplitude modulated with 30 Hz frequency, and 9.96 kHz subcarrier, frequency modulated with 30 Hz. Phase shift between both signals is user-controlled in full 0-360o range with 0.1 step.

MRT-3 instrument is either battery operated or supplied  from external power supply serving also as a battery charger. Battery will power the instrument through 10 hours shift and it’s condition is presented on the display. Apparatus is automatically shut off after 10 minutes while unattended or in case of almost discharged battery.
