AREAS OF ACTIVITY - TESTING
The Landing Gear Department is able to perform complete tests according to FAR, EASA, MIL, CS
and AP standards, for rotorcraft, jet airplane and helicopters, with maximum take-off mass up to 20000 kg (44000 lb). We are able to research complete assembly and specific elements by defining mechanical and electrical characteristics, power consumption, functional behaviour, reliability, fatigue strength, impact load resistance, in area of static, quasi-static and dynamic.
Measuring and recording parameters:
Time, frequency, force, torque, displacement, acceleration, velocity, deformation, pressure, temperature, mass, voltage, current etc.
Quality policy:
Laboratory has certifications according to ISO 9000 and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standards (PCA - Polish Centre for Accreditation).
Experimental work is performed using:
- High performance laboratory IBM-PC acquisition systems: max. 333 or 1000 kSamples/s 12 or 16 bit
data, configurable for 64 input channels (upgradable to 256 channels) and mobile system using
SPIDER 8 (Hottinger) (upgradable to 256 channels),
- Amplifiers (DC or 4.8 kHz carrier frequency plug-in unit); from Hottinger Baldwin, Messtechnik,
National Instrument, Peltron, upgradeable to 26 channels,
- Transducers and accessories for pressure, acceleration, linear displacement, force, torque,
temperature, strain gauges by Hottinger, Keithley, Iotech, NI and Peltron,
- Software for Data acquisition, control, report generation, applications generated in-house using the
TestPoint CEC system, NI LabView, IOtech DasyLab and HBM Catman for PC-based Windows
and Real-Time machines,
- Equipment for calibration, verification, measurement, waveform generation and control from HBM,
Keithley Metrabyte, Tektronix, National Instruments, IOtech
