TURBOCOMPRESSOR LABORATORY

Fans and compressors testing (primarily mapping) powered by electric drive (2.25 MW) with speed control.
Power demand can be reduced by 50% by throttling flow at inlet (min. absolute pressure 0.5 bar).
Speed ranges: 16564 rpm, 32093 rpm, 44619 rpm (gearbox dependent). Data acquisition system: HP-3497A logger (256 channels) for static measurements, 300 kHz 16/32 channels PC card for dynamic measurements.
Test stand control and measurement instrumentation: basic parameters including vibration monitoring.
