General Electric Aircraft Engines and General Electric Company Polska entered into co-operation agreement with Warsaw Institute of Aviation what led to the creation of the Engineering Design Center in the Institute of Aviation in 2000.

The Center looks for engineers who will work in the following areas:

• Aeromechanics
  Engine flow path analyzes
• Combustion Chambers
  Design, manufacturing & field support
• Airfoils and vanes
  Design and manufacturing support
• Bearings, Seals and Drives
  Gearboxes, lubrication systems, shafts, heat exchangers
• Heat Exchange
  Modeling and analyzes using FEM
• Reliability
  Statistics analyzes and projections
• Strength and Thermal Analyzes
  Modeling and analyzes using FEM
• Rotating Parts
  Design, manufacturing & field support
  

Requirements:

• Graduation at mechanical faculty (Master degree)
• Proficiency in English (written & spoken)
• Knowledge of modern engineering tools (UNIGRAPHICS and ANSYS preferred)
